Getting There Bansko is situated 170 km from the international airport of Bulgaria's capital city, Sofia. Special travel or transfer arrangements are possible, including trips to the local vineyards and to the many historical sites in the locality.
Flight Information It is possible to get direct flights to Bulgaria from most major airports in the UK.
Ski Information Typically a weekly ski pass will cost 125 euros and ski/board rental costs around 10 euros a day. Ski lessons can be arranged for 10 euros an hour for groups and 20 euros an hour for private lessons.
Currency Information The Currency in Bulgaria is the Leva, you will get a good rate of exchange from cash machines. You can change Sterling and Euros easily in town. Travelers cheques are not so popular but there are one or two banks in town that will change them for you.
